Program Information
UFROs Special Education program trains teaching professionals with the skills to work in a field of diversity, promoting the successful inclusion of individuals with disabilities and their families in society.
The students’ training in learning and assessment theories, the detection of special educational needs, legal frameworks, collaborative work and co-teaching, inclusive technologies, etc., allows them to develop teaching methods with diversification strategies; to carry out a multidimensional assessment of the individual and the context he/she lives in; to implement support plans for the elimination of educational barriers; and to manage inclusion proposals for conventional and non-conventional spaces for respect and appreciation of diversity.
The graduates have a comprehensive knowledge of the regional context, social awareness and responsibility, as well as ethical values, with an emphasis on effective communication, teamwork and continuous professional development and updating.
Occupational field
The graduates of this program have the skills to work in educational establishments, public and private entities, as well as self-employed.

Program Information
A Veterinarian, graduated from the Universidad de La Frontera, is a professional trained in animal sciences and veterinary medicine. He/She has the skills to work in the fields of animal welfare and animal health, veterinary epidemiology and public health, animal production, and wildlife conservation and protection.
The basic and specialized training will allow the graduate to perform diagnoses and to apply treatments in domestic and wild animals; to design programs for the prevention and control of diseases transmissible to humans; to plan production processes that favor the production of foods of animal origin and their safety for the consumers; and to design programs for wildlife protection, conservation and management.
He/she is able to work autonomously, to act ethically, with responsibility and professional and social commitment, and to work as part of a team, effectively communicating his/her intentions regarding the resolution of profession-related issues.
Occupational Field
A Veterinarian, trained at the Universidad de La Frontera, will have the skills to work in the public and private sector, for research and development centers, NGOs, clinical and pharmacological laboratories and other national and international institutions, or self-employed.

Program Information
The objective of this Program is to train professionals with tourism management skills, who are able to take actions, to create alternatives to the touristic offer, and to apply the acquired skills in the different disciplines that are part of the curricular progress. In addition, the graduates will be able to work in different professional positions related to the planning of products and tourist destinations within public or private organizations that are responsible for the public and private tourism management.
Occupational field
The students who successfully complete this Program will be able to work in the fields of territorial or tourist destination management, with inbound and outbound tour operators, adventure tourism companies, travel agencies, as well as in offices for touristic development and information, departments or units of municipalities, chambers of tourism, public services, and entities for social and economic promotion. The students will also be able to participate in multidisciplinary projects, or management consultancy and local development teams.

Program Information
The objective of this Program is to train professionals who are able to plan different tours and guide different groups of people through mountains, rivers and lakes, in a reliable and safe way. At the same time, the students will learn the principles of environmental ethics and sustainable tourism during their training, which is a combination of theoretical classes (in the classroom) and practical classes (outdoors).
Occupational field
The students who successfully complete this Program will be able to work in the field of tourism, providing special tour guide services to individual clients or organized groups that want to carry out recreational sports activities in the natural environment: terrestrial environments in general, low or middle mountain regions, aquatic areas, etc.
The students of this program will be able to work in the following type of companies: adventure tourism companies, tourism companies (hotels, camping sites, hostels, lodges, etc.), travel agencies, natural parks or protected area management companies, sports clubs, schools, ski resorts with a complementary off-season offer of activities, public entities which offer activities in the natural environment, and other companies that offer similar services.
